Frequently Asked Questions
Frequent questions
Is your insurance accepted for obtaining and renewing residence permits in Spain?
Yes, all our policies fully comply with Immigration Office (Extranjería) requirements. We only work with accredited Spanish insurance companies (Sanitas, DKV, AXA, Adeslas), whose policies are officially accepted for obtaining and renewing all types of residence permits: non-lucrative residence visa, student visa, Golden Visa for investors, and others. All policies are issued with full coverage (sin copagos) and no waiting periods (sin carencia), which is a mandatory requirement for residence permits.
Can I get the policy completely online without visiting an office?
Absolutely! The entire process takes 15-30 minutes online. Simply fill out the form on our website or contact us via phone/WhatsApp. After agreeing on the terms, you pay for the policy online (by card, transfer, or Bizum), and the documents arrive instantly in your email. We send the original policy by post, but the electronic version is sufficient for submission to the consulate or Immigration Office. No in-person meetings required — everything remotely, even if you’re still in Russia or another country.
When does the insurance take effect after purchase?
For policies required for residence permits, the insurance takes effect from the date specified in the contract — usually the day you choose when purchasing. Important: we issue policies WITHOUT waiting periods (sin carencia), which means full coverage from day one, including hospitalization and emergency care. This is critical for obtaining residence, as the Immigration Office requires these exact conditions. After payment, the policy becomes effective on the specified date, and you receive all documents via email within a few hours.
What documents are needed to purchase insurance?
Minimum documentation required: scan/photo of the first page of your passport (or NIE, if you already have one), registration address in Spain (or planned address), active email to receive documents. For some policy types, a Spanish bank account number may be required to set up automatic payments. Medical certificates and tests are NOT required for standard policies. If you have chronic conditions, we’ll help you find the right company — just let us know when purchasing.
Can I cancel the policy and get a refund?
Yes, there is a 14-day cooling-off period from the contract signing date. If you cancel the policy BEFORE it takes effect and haven’t used it to obtain a visa, you’ll receive a 100% refund of the amount paid. If the policy has already taken effect but you decide to cancel it within the first 14 days, you’ll receive a partial premium refund minus the days the policy was already active. Important: if the policy was used to obtain a visa (there’s a stamp in your passport), no refund is provided according to insurance company regulations.
